The Full Potential of Plant-Based Food Innovation for a more Delicious World.

The Mondarella story began back in 2019 with the development of the world’s first almond-based vegan mozzarella.
Piero Brunetti – vegan for almost 20 years – developed the recipe and pushed the product to production maturity.

Supported by a team of professional chefs and food technicians, the product has been refined and improved over time through many tests. Initial promotions in German and international supermarkets in 2020 were more than successful and nothing stood in the way of further growth.

Together with his partner Frank Riedel, Piero then founded Mondarella GmbH in January 2021. Both are entrepreneurs and share their love for quality vegan cuisine and want to help bring plant-based foods into the heart of society.

In the summer of 2021, the Swiss sales professional Pascal Gehrer joined the Mondarella management team as the third member and will be responsible for national and international product sales in the future.
